VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!

This fall the Friends of Second Marsh (FSM) Plant Stewardship Subcommittee will focus on managing European Buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica) in the valuable habitats in McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve.  Large and established trees will be flagged and girdled (a ring cut around the trunk) and small seedlings will be pulled. All training and equipment are provided. No matter your age, skill level or physical ability, there is a way to contribute.
