Love the Marsh! Campaign – Our goal is to raise $500,000 over the next five years to improve trails and signage, replace and install benches, replace aging viewing platforms, manage dominant introduced (invasive) species, enhance the main entrance, install washrooms and to continue our community education, interpretative and stewardship initiatives at the Oshawa Second Marsh and McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve.
Let’s De-Phrag the Marsh! Project– Donate to FSM to support the Let’s De-Phrag the Marsh! Project, a multi-year project to manage the spread of Invasive Phragmites, an invasive species that is negatively impacting the ecological health of the Marsh and the McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve. Should the Project be completed remaining funds shall be transferred to the Operating Fund.
Celebrate Your Milestones With Us – Donate to FSM to celebrate milestones – birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, births, graduations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc. The gift recipient will receive a card acknowledging the gift and, at the request of the donor, the gift will also be acknowledged in the FSM newsletter.
Carbon Offset– Donate to FSM as a carbon offset to compensate for your energy use and carbon production and contribute to a cleaner, greener world.
Memorial Donation –Donations in memory of family or friends are welcome. A card and charitable tax receipt will be issued to the donor. At the request of the donor, a card will be sent to the family to inform them of the donation and acknowledged in the FSM newsletter.
