Save the Date! Friends of Second Marsh Outdoor Experience Series sub-committee is proud to announce our fall event,  Discover the Magic of the Marsh, scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 18th, 2021.

Whether you are a frequent user or just discovering the Second Marsh, this event will have something for everyone and is suitable for all ages. Activities will include: First Nations History, Wild Neighbourhood Hike, Nature Walk, Photography Hike and a Photography Contest.

Wild Neighbourhood Hike: 10 am to 3 pm
Walk the trails at your own pace and visit our information stations to learn about and enjoy nature-related activities. Suitable for adults, teens and families.

Nature Walk: 11 am to 12 pm; 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Quiet contemplation and meditative walking while “bathing in the energy and clean air of the woods.”  Guided hike. Suitable for adults and teens.

Come learn tips from an experienced outdoor photographer. Guided hike. Suitable for adults and teens.
